Alpine pasture season-themed play area

VOUNETSE, CHARMEY

At the top of the Charmey gondola lift, in Vounetse, a wide range of activities awaits visitors of all ages, offering an immersive experience of the alpine pasture season. Educational panels and playful activities reveal the many facets of the alpine world and its living traditions.

Young visitors can explore the journey of milk through an interactive game designed especially for them. A series of activities introduces them to the living traditions of the Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park. They can even try their hand at milking cows or goats. The craft of wooden shingle roofing also takes centre stage, with opportunities to learn how to lay shingles and test the watertightness of their construction.

A craft workshop invites participants to personalise wooden objects such as cows, balls and cheese packaging.

A film also provides an insight into life on the alpine pastures by following the daily life of the Piller family, who run the Vounetse chalet.

Finally, visitors can test their knowledge on their smartphones with a digital game.
